With offices in Vineland, Elmer and Somers Point and three foot and ankle surgeons on staff, we are open five days a week and every Saturday morning to treat a wide variety of lower extremity conditions, including disease and injuries of the foot, ankle, and lower leg, as well emergencies such as sports injuries and diabetic foot wounds. Our highly trained staff is always available to assist you. We treat patients of all ages, from kids to elderly adults, and our staff is fluent in Spanish, Farsi, and Filipino.
If you’re experiencing pain in your feet, knees, legs, and/or back as a result of wearing shoes with little to no support, custom foot orthotics may be right for you!
Custom foot orthotics are designed to align the foot and ankle into the most anatomically efficient position.
In most cases, invasive methods are not necessary to correct many foot disorders. Though in more extreme conditions, surgery may be required. The need for surgery will depend on the severity of the condition, the amount of pain the patient is experiencing, and the patient’s past response to various treatments.
Diabetic Foot Care
Daily preventative care can help you decrease your risk of developing these other serious conditions like ulcers and infections. Inspecting your feet at the end of the day to look for any abnormalities, maintaining proper hygiene, keeping your feet warm in cold weather, encouraging blood flow in the feet, and maintaining an overall healthy lifestyle can discourage other conditions from developing.
Heel pain is one of the most common complaints from patients. While heel spurs may or may not show up on an x-ray, the spurs themselves are a result of the actual problem: plantar fasciitis.
Diabetic Foot Care
At Foot Care Centers, our staff is highly trained and knowledgeable when it comes to issues regarding foot or leg pain, mobility, and the various conditions that can affect people.
If you have never been to a podiatrist before, you may be nervous about your upcoming visit. Don’t be! Millions of people see podiatrists every year for help with their feet, ankles, and lower legs.
